The Opal Ledger operates theopalledger.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@theopalledger.com. This notice covers this website, not third-party marketplaces or social networks.
Your choice comes first
Optional analytics and advertising tracking are off until you choose them. Reject optional is available alongside Accept optional. Manage choices lets you choose categories separately. You can reopen Privacy choices at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw consent. Declining does not stop you browsing stones, watching our hosted videos, reading guides or following marketplace links.
Your choice is stored on your device under tol-privacy-v1 for up to 180 days. This preference storage is used to remember your decision, not to identify you across websites. If your browser blocks storage, the choice may last only for the current visit. After expiry or clearing browser data, we ask again. Global Privacy Control keeps advertising tracking off, even if an earlier choice allowed it.
Optional analytics
If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics 4 receives page-view information to help us understand which pages are useful and whether our marketing brings visits. It may process online identifiers, browser/device information and network information, including the IP address used to connect to Google. We do not describe this as anonymous data.
Our Google tag loads only after analytics consent. Google advertising signals, advertising personalization and enhanced measurement are disabled. We send cleaned page URLs without query strings or fragments and do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers or Etsy order details. Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_… are configured to expire after up to 180 days; repeat visits may renew them. Browser privacy tools can block measurement.

Optional advertising tracking
If you allow Advertising, Meta Pixel loads only with that consent and without Global Privacy Control. Its purpose is measuring visits and supporting relevant advertising audiences for future campaigns. No paid campaign is activated by making this choice. Server-side Conversions API sharing is not enabled.
The Pixel can share page visits, online identifiers, browser/device and network information with Meta, which may associate visits with a Meta account. Cookies such as _fbp and _fbc can last up to 90 days. We do not enable advanced matching, send customer lists or send names, contact details, payment details or Etsy purchases. Pixel loading is suppressed on page URLs containing query strings or fragments. See Meta’s privacy policy and Meta’s cookie policy.
Withdrawing consent stops future optional collection and clears accessible first-party tracking cookies on this site. It cannot recall information already sent or remove cookies controlled by another website. You may also clear cookies using your browser controls or contact us about your request.
Hosting, messages and purchases
The site’s hosting and delivery providers may process technical connection information, including IP addresses and request logs, to serve and secure the website. This necessary delivery is separate from optional analytics. This website has no user accounts, checkout, newsletter signup or contact-form submission. If you email the brand, your message and contact details are used to respond and retain an appropriate business record.
Marketplace links
Following a link to Etsy takes you to a separate service with its own privacy policy and data practices. Purchases and messages sent through Etsy are handled by that service, not by this website.
Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and other external links also lead to independent services. Their privacy settings and policies apply there. We do not embed their social feeds on this site.
Requests and international processing
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of personal information, withdraw consent, or object to certain sharing. Email info@theopalledger.com with your request; do not send sensitive identification documents unless a safe verification method is agreed. We will respond according to applicable requirements. Google and Meta may process data outside your country under their own published safeguards and retention practices. We do not sell customer lists. Optional advertising sharing may qualify as targeted advertising or sharing under some laws; you can refuse it here.
